How to Use

Use as needed to heal or prevent chapped lips. The organic beeswax provides your lips with a protective layer to prevent dryness, while the tallow infuses vitamins into your skin.

Why tallow?

Beef tallow's fatty-acid profile is unusually close to the fatty-acid profile of human skin - closer than any plant oil. This means that it can penetrate our lipid barrier and deliver the powerhouse of nutrients it contains: Vitamin A (in retinoid form), Vitamin D, Vitamin E (as alpha-tocopherol), and Vitamin K2. Tallow from grass-fed cows has been shown to be consistently higher in these vitamins than tallow from grain-fed cows. Our beef tallow is 100% grass-fed and finished, and comes from small family farms without being bleached or deodorized.

Why beeswax?

Organic beeswax has many proven benefits to the human body and skin. Not only is beeswax noncomedogenic (it won't clog pores), but it is rich in Vitamin A and aids in rehydrating and repairing the skin. It also acts as a protective agent, locking in your skin's natural moisture and preventing dry lips from happening in the first place!

Why jojoba oil?

Our jojoba oil is organic, cold-pressed, and noncomedogenic (it won't clog pores). Jojoba oil is known to soften the appearance of wrinkles and sun-spots, and reduce visible dryness.
